"Throughout this Revson year, I traveled through this journey with compassionate, interesting, and stimulating fellows, and their stories and projects opened my eyes to new experiences."

Revson Fellows who wish to receive Columbia University alumni status may complete an application form and submit it to the Revson Fellowship Office. The Revson Program will enroll Fellows as alumni through the Office of Alumni Relations and the Library Information Office. Privileges begin as soon these offices process the application.
Below you will find a sampling of services and benefits available to you once you gain alumni status at Columbia. For more information about alumni benefits, services, and events, visit Columbia’s Alumni Association. To access some of these services, you will need to know your University Network ID (UNI). Information about finding your UNI can be found here.
Columbia no longer grants or renews Officer ID cards for alumni. Instead, you can obtain an Alumni Reading card for access to Columbia’s libraries. The card can be obtained by following the instructions detailed below.
Alumni may apply for a University Alumni Identification Card that grants renewable reading privileges. You must first apply for alumni status following the instructions above. Once you have received alumni status, in order to obtain an Alumni Identification Card, please visit the Library Information Office in Butler Library (to the left of the entrance), to apply. Please tell the staff member that you are a Revson Fellow alumnus/a and request an application. Your name should be on a list of enrolled Revson alumni.
There is a $5.00 fee for the Alumni Photo ID Card (this includes replacement for lost or stolen cards as well as renewals).
Alumni who wish to borrow books may obtain borrowing privileges for a fee of $30 per month. Please contact the Library Information Office for more information.
Please note that remote access to library electronic information services may be restricted to currently registered Columbia University students, faculty and staff, though many of these online resources can be accessed by using the computers located in the Columbia libraries.
Select e-resources have been made available for alumni to access remotely. The list of these resources and information about logging in can be found here.
Your UNI will remain active for at least three months following the end of the semester and most likely longer. You will receive an expiration notification before it expires. You will then be able to set up lifetime email forwarding to direct your current Columbia email address to forward email to another email provider. In partnership with Google, Columbia also offers free, web-based email with Gmail features and a Columbia email address. To learn more or sign up, click here.
You can request a free transcript by mail or in-person. If your first date of attendance was in 1982 or later, your transcript will be processed while you wait. For more information, click here.
Once your alumni application is processed, you will begin receiving the Alumni Magazine. Be sure to update your address through the alumni website if you move.
Alumni can purchase a membership at the Dodge Physical Fitness Center, which offers alumni and their families access to Columbia’s pool, indoor track, squash courts, weight room and other facilities. You will need a current Alumni Reading Card Photo ID (see instructions under Library Access) to identify you as an alumnus/a. Please contact the membership office at (212) 854-2546 to inquire about hours and membership rates.
Alumni have free access to over 100 online seminars taught by Columbia’s faculty. Covering a wide range of subjects including the arts, teaching, history, international affairs, and public health, the collection can be accessed here with your University Network ID.
