Kenneth Lo is the Director of Cross-Cultural Communications at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. His unit coordinates translation and interpretation for the 6,000-person agency and helps culturally and linguistically diverse NYC communities gain access to health information and services. Before joining the Health Department, Lo worked in publishing and graphic design in New York and studied urban planning and public health at the University of Michigan.
