Sandra Goodridge is a consultant for the Institute of Women and Ethnic Studies where she focuses on documenting the stories of Hurricane Katrina survivors. She is the former founding Director of the National Urban League’s Division of Health and Quality of Life, where she created health education programs in HIV/AIDS prevention, child obesity, and mental health promotion. Goodridge is also a former mental health counselor, proud mentor, and amateur photographer.
